Okey dokey, hope you remember your shape from post numero uno! This is for all you Rulers/ Straight figures out there!

Ruffles add feminine volume

Rulers tend to be pretty lean all the way down their body. You are in good company of fellow Rulers like Keira Knightley and Gwenyth Paltrow.

These are good examples of when these two get in touch with their girly side :) This also downplays their angular frame.
Rulers can easily be classified as boyish, so the main goal-- create curves and definition.
How to rock your Ruler body:
DOs
*Empire-waisted tops & dresses are great for you. They accentuate a small bust.
*Ruffles and prints are A-OK when you're a ruler. They add volume to create curves! (this is a big no-no for Apples however)

*Ruching is fabulous for rulers-- they accentuate curves. Ruching (rooshing) is a French term that means gathering, ruffling or pleating
*Pants with textured fabrics (e.g. wool, tweed, corduroy) are the best options. To add a little curve to your tush, look for pockets on the back (preferably with some stitching design). Avoid ones that are too fitted-- that will only emphasize your straightness
DON'Ts
*Avoid slim and tight-fitted things-- this will only emphasize a boyish figure
*Baggy clothing. This will swamp you and you'll get lost in it. Like cargo pants.
*Plunging or low cut necklines. This can make a small chest appear painfully smaller
*Menswear inspired outfits. This is the opposite of what we want to accomplish.

INSTEAD, go for...
*Soft floaty fabrics in pretty colors give you a girlier feel.
